ZOMBIE - A new play

    Watch a preview of ZOMBIE.

"Shocking . . . a chilling one-man study of perversity . . . Mr. Connington commits totally to his haunting characterization and leaves us wondering exactly what kind of people are walking the streets alongside us."

--Anita Gates, The New York Times

ZOMBIE

An Award-winning new play

by BILL CONNINGTON

adapted from the novella by JOYCE CAROL OATES

Directed by THOMAS CARUSO

. . . the serial killer next door . . .

Stand back, Jeffrey Dahmer. A mild-mannered "everyman" sheds his skin, revealing the serial killer within. He follows his romantic delusions to horrific extremes, preying on young men, hoping to create a zombie who will be his forever. ZOMBIE asks what is the nature of a "monster"--and what potential monsters may be lurking within ourselves?

"I'm a very nice neighbor. I'm looking for just the right young man so I can turn him into my perfect zombie. What are you looking for? My failures are at the bottom of the lake. Where are you hiding yours?"
